Arid Bilge Systems

PRECISION WATER REMOVAL DEVICE

The Arid Bilge System is the most effective way to keep your bilges completely dry, clean, and odor-free. For optimum performance, we recommend professional installation—especially on larger boats with multiple bilge areas.

With decades of marine systems design experience, Tampa Bay Yacht can help you determine which Arid Bilge product is best for your application, design your system, and professionally install the control box, pickups and tubing.

Why your bilge still smells: Standard bilge pumps leave behind 1–2 inches of stagnant water. That leftover water is what causes odors, corrosion, mold, and long-term damage.

Arid Bilge = dry bilge. A bulkhead-mounted module and up to 11 low-profile pickups use vacuum to pull every last drop into a collection chamber. It’s fully automatic (no timers/apps), runs on 12/24V DC (AC optional), and a typical Series 4 uses ~2 Ah/day. Components never touch bilge water and the system is ignition-protected (USCG 33 CFR 183.410).

Keep your main pumps happy. Arid Bilge doesn’t replace them; it handles the residual water they miss and reduces pump cycling.

  • Dries what standard bilge pumps leave behind (1–2″)

  • Cuts odors, mold, mildew, and grime

  • Protects equipment: gensets, stabilizers, thrusters, wiring, plumbing

  • Automatic operation; no timers or apps

  • ~2 Ah/day typical (Series 4) on 12/24V DC; AC optional

  • Air-moving design: components avoid bilge water

  • Ignition-protected (USCG 33 CFR 183.410)

  • Extends the life of conventional bilge pumps

Arid Bilge offers four systems. All are made-to-order with your choice of zones, voltage, valve styles and pickup styles.

  • Series 1 — Single zone only

  • Series 2 — Two to three zones

  • Series 4 — Four to eight zones

  • Series 9 HD — Nine to eleven zones

DIY installation is possible for mechanically inclined boat owners — especially for systems with one or a few zones — but professional installation is typically recommended for larger systems. Installers determine the number and location of pickups, route the tubing between pickups and box, and mount, configure and wire the box.
